Coronavirus Update January ’21
Due to the announcement of national lockdown in Scotland, we will not be able to fulfill routine health checks and booster vaccinations as normal. If your pet is due an annual vaccination in January, please await an additional reminder message in February or March to invite you to attend for a vaccine appointment. Puppy vaccines however, will be available as normal. Kitten vaccines will be offered on a discretionary basis.
We continue to see sick or injured pets as normal. Consultations can be made by phone, however we have temporarily suspended our online booking system. Currently we ask that clients phone the reception from outside the building upon arrival to ‘check in’ – the vet will then approach you outside or call your mobile phone when he/she is ready.
We are still providing flea and worming treatment to pets as normal on our monthly health plan – when you get your reminder email or text, just phone us, email us, or use our online medication request form to arrange collection of treatments.
Thank you all for your understanding in this matter – we are all looking forward to greeting everyone back in to the clinic on more normal terms when we are eventually through this awful pandemic and things are safer for staff and pet owners alike.
Both clinics will remain open as normal, however our Sunday clinic will be divided between our Chesser and Clovenstone branches as follows:
Sunday 10th January – Chesser – 10am to 1pm
Sunday 17th January – Clovenstone – 10am to 1pm
Sunday 24th January- Chesser – 10am to 1pm
Sunday 31st January – Clovenstone– 10am to 1pm
Sunday 7th February – Chesser – 10am to 1pm
Sunday 14th February – Chesser – 10am to 1pm
Sunday 21st February – Clovenstone – 10am to 1pm
Coronavirus Update August 2020
Thanks for all your cooperation over ‘lockdown’ and for helping keep our staff safe by waiting outside whilst we cared for your pets, however we are very pleased to announce that owners are once again permitted to accompany their pets inside our clinics for appointments!
Despite our clinics resuming face to face in-clinic appointments, we are still able to offer tele-consultation via Skype or Zoom as an alternative way to assess your pet and decide if an examination is required. If appropriate, we are able to dispense treatment for them without having to attend the clinic in person. The cost is the same as a standard consultation and if your pet does require to come in to the surgery, there will be no additional consultation charge.
Please call the clinic if you are interested and we can guide you through the process.
